In moving to Frome we have found a community which is welcoming, engaging and thriving. We have found people who work together to create and do, and an ethos of positivity and collaboration. The strands of Frome that bring us all togeter are those that we believe should be nurtured. The HUBnub Centre will be a focus for the local community, and the services it offers will reflect the creativity and innovative nature of Frome's residents.

The project sprang from discovering the building for sale, whilst hunting for a unique property that could house the varied creative and social projects that we have worked on and envisaged since moving to the area. The opportunities that this building provides are many, and we aim to cater for every member of our community in a way that is beneficial and enjoyable. The HUBnub Centre is a project of many parts and many stages of devolopment. The HUBnub team has its base with Ed and Io, but the success of the centre as a whole is dependant on those working on and steering the many projects within it. The Centre will house a clean and welcome children's play area, friendly cafe and beautiful garden. It will provide much needed space for groups to meet, accessible office rooms to work in and large open areas for artists to display their work. It will host events and become a place where people enjoy to be. The HUBnub team look forward to working with the community throughout the planning and devlopment process, so please bear with us and watch this space.

Separate facilities support this incredible office space with additional ramp make it suitable for wheel chair use.  Its central location with well known public footpath makes it ideally situated to get your business noticed.

The HUBnub Centre is easy to find on foot or by car. A five minute walk from the centre of town, walking up the gentle slope of Zion Walk or the slightly more strenuous Catherine Hill before entering Whittox Lane.

excellent facilities

Parking is available, but due to the HUBnub Centre's location it is limited to those using the office space and attending groups held in the hall. Plentiful car parking is available only five minutes away in the town centre.

meetings and event space

The facilities provided at the HUBnub Centre will develop and improve as the project grows. We endeavour to provide excellent facilities for the community we work with.

The HUBnub Centre can cater for one off and regular events, providing impressive and flexible surroundings for a variety of uses. Its large hall and small upstairs room ensure that groups and meetings of differing sizes can find their space

garden An oasis of relaxation and exploration for cafe users, children and groups. The garden will feature play equipment and garden benches.

gallery space The gallery of our wonderful building will provide a home for art work produced locally and sourced from afar. It will provide a fantastic viewing platform for work to be seen and admired, and will benefit from separate access, meaning that there will be no need to enter the cafe itself.

The HUBnub Centre provides competitive rates to its customers, as a means to not only provide spaces which are accessible to a wide scope of the community but also to generate enough revenue to support its conversion and future maintenance.

The main church area will become an exciting, accessible and fun play space for children under 5. It will provide children with much needed space to safely run free and explore while their adults relax and enjoy well-deserved coffee and cake.


The HUBnub Centre is open for classes and events 7 days per week.
